2011-2012 just seemed to be one of those periods, accidents, injuries and illness in the family. It got to the stage I decided that after more than 44 years of custom rod building, an "early retirement" was in order.
It's 2013 now and it would appear my regular client base and a good number of potential clients are not prepared to take no for an answer. I`ve been just as busy "retired" as ever I was in gainful employment so it's back to the grind once more!
This new web site is aimed mainly at the "specialist" rod market and the previous selection of over 300 rods has been cut considerably. What has not been cut is the quality or attention to detail that has been the cornerstone of Alba Rods over the years.
I look forward to hearing from friends, old and new, now that I am back and running. Do let me know what you think of the new site when it is completed.
